Kunngana in Swahili means to connect.

Kuungana is under the direction of Ba Ba Kevin Collins. Kuungana has been operating since 1992. Students age 2-Adults are welcome to attend. Students are taught West African Drum & Dance, jewelry making, drum making & repair, creating African shakers and belt making. Mentoring Services are provided. As students become proficient in Drum and Dance, they will showcase their skills in performances throughout the state.
